- Every Saturday, year-round — first ball at sunrise at Spicewood or Deepwood.
- Home by 10 AM. Saturday games start at sunrise and wrap around 10 — your whole day is still yours, for family, errands, whatever.
- Sunday practice, 7–9 AM. Optional net at the park behind the fire station — bat, bowl, keep, done before brunch.
- Social 20-20 cricket, all skill levels. Weekend warriors, ex-club players, first-timers — everyone bats and bowls.
- One player pool, 22 captains. Signups open Thursday 8 PM; captains draft fresh teams every week — you always get a game.
- Real season, real trophy. Points, rankings, knockouts and a Super 7 final in front of the whole club.
- Community first. Post-match presentations, potluck lunches, a WhatsApp group that never sleeps.

22 teams, one player pool, captains fixed all season. The bottom two go home, the top four walk straight into the Super Stage — everyone else fights through the knockouts.

Austin Blasters 158/12 (19.3) beat Austin Fighters 99/9 (20) — by 59 runs 🎯
The Blasters lived a full match in the first five overs 😱 — 4/1, 4/2, 5/3 as Inder Paul Singh and Nikhil Obili opened with knives, then Saurabh Jain arrived and 18/6 in the 5th looked less like a scoreline and more like a crime scene 🩸. Six down, five overs gone, seventy balls to play. It should have been the match.
Enter the plot armour 🛡️ — Hemant Joshi retired hurt-scary at 24, walked back for a 41 (28) with six fours and a six 💥. Lukesh Singla did the impossible three times: 46 off 31 with FOUR fours and THREE sixes, retired at 45, retired at 116, retired at 158 — bowled on the very last ball of the innings 🔁. Aditya Gulkotwar detonated 26 off 14 at a 186 strike rate before Chinmay found his stumps 🎬, and captain Madhan Reddy anchored 21 (22) so the flourishers had a wall to lean on 🧱. From 18/6 to 158/12 — a hundred and forty runs from certain death 🚀.
The Fighters chase started with Hemant Joshi bowling like his own record book depended on it — 3/11 in 3: Avadhoot pouched in the very first over, Harish's stumps rattled in the third 🎳. Ankur Sah snuck one through Pranav in between — 5/1, 12/2, 12/3 and the tune felt familiar. Then came the murder weapon 🔪 — Anirban Das 3/4 in 3 overs, one maiden, sixteen dot balls. Chinmay caught, Inder Paul caught-and-bowled, Arpit caught — three wickets in a single over, all at 30 — 30/6 in the 7th, and the Fighters were done bar the accounting 📉.
What remained was pride 🪨 — Nalin Nimavat behind the stumps took FOUR catches and out front carried the bat for 23* (26) with four fours, top-scoring for a side that couldn't string two partners together 🎣. Captain Shilpan Patel retired hurt-not-out at 19 with a six to his name, Saurabh Jain slashed 16 (13) with three fours before Lukesh yorked him, and Nikhil Obili chipped in 9 — every hand raised, none big enough. The cruel twist: Fighters had actually BOWLED brilliantly — Saurabh Jain 4/22, Inder Paul Singh 3/11, Harish Jain 2/17 — they held Blasters to 158 from 18/6 and still couldn't chase it.
